JEAN CHRISTOPHE, it is quite fun for an artist who likes playing with the elements to have a name which sounds like a first name.

Thanks to his educational background within the Nicolas Flamel School (former name of the Boulle School), this artist who is still gifted with a child’s mind, managed to turn the best of what technique can offer to play around with metals and stones to design dreamlike jewelry. And so, the collection “Bulle de savon » (Soap Bubble) he created at the birth of his son, which concept was born when bathing, might be described as a kind of explosion of multicolored-sapphires…or the “Jumanji”, an enthralling mixture of magic and fairytale, dominated by swirling tourmalines.

He stated that he had always loved taking challenges, like the one which consisted in being the first to create, in 2009, a space especially dedicated to men. An intentionally contemporary design; comfortable and easy to wear for all who appreciate stylishness.

He imagined himself becoming a surgeon – according to him, the mechanics is the same, but devoted to life – and sometimes also dreams of being a plane or a car builder, just to innovate and play around with metal on a larger scale.

Thanks to his very serious work entirely devoted to high jewelry, Frederic Mitterrand, the Minister of Culture appointed him « Master of Art » in 2010. Nevertheless, he never takes himself seriously. Jean Christophe will still be fascinating us for a long time with daring jewels he likes to offend like precious and enchanting toys they are.
